Astragalus nitidiflorus

Published by DEIA, Oct. 20, 2011

As always, and in the most normal way, the most incredible discoveries take place. A fan of botany took a bicycle ride by the proximities of the mountain “Cabezos del Pericón” belonging to the town Tallante in the providence of Murcia. While he enjoyed the day he noticed of a very weird and unknown plant, the Astragalus nitidiflorus or Tallante's Garbancillo, is a species of legume in the Fabaceae family considered in critical danger of disappearance, since then the only place known all over the world is located in Tallante.

All this took place in the year 2003, when it was believed that this plant had been already extinct for almost 100 years ago, and ever since the scientists have been accomplishing uncountable studies in order to protect the project of recovering this species.

Each living being has created there own strategy to face its survival. In general there are two types: Or you play in the edict of the generalist or in the ones of the specialists. If you belong to the first ones you are more adaptable and eclectic, at the same time of feeding yourself as in locating a place to live, etc... If on the contrary you belong with the seconds, you are much more demanding regarding nutrition and to the habitat. Equilibrium underlies everything, in its absence all that is generated hinders and destroys the surroundings.

Constantly the land equilibriums and unbalances have followed and in a epoch with hegemony, of the first and is close behind with control of the second.

The ways of life that have bear stoically the previous periods indicated before are the ones that reach a maximum level of development, taking sometimes advantage of, as in the case the human being, almost conquering and molding a whole system upon its way of life returning to break off that hoped-for equilibrium.

The more species that disappear more difficult it will be for the ecosystem to work correctly, because each and everyone of them are basic in order that life works as we know. So it is basic to protect the maximum of the biodiversity as a whole and not as I con-join of isolated species.

PENSAMENTUA

How many times has the human being tried to emulate the animal exploits? All the cultures have stood out and even adored the capacities of animals that shared ecosystem with them. Perhaps been taken away for a feeling of inferiority, we the men carrying great part of our existence trying to equalize and to surpass the most fantastic exploits of the animal kingdom, without realizing that if there is any capacity inherited extremely powerful in this world, that one is the thought, capable to change even the future of the whole planet.

The professor Masaru Emoto has been studying for years the water and thanks to his investigation he has made an innovative method to grab its essence. In 1994 he began to intuit that all the surroundings vibration influences produces alterations in the molecular structure of the water and to demonstrate it he began to experiment with photographic techniques of frozen drops of water that previously had been subjected to different alterations. Polluted waters, pure, exposed to various musical compositions and also blessed water, changed in a molecular way time after time.

And arrived to this point Dr Emoto made an experiment with the thought, leaving the whole night out the window with various containers of the same type of water but with different sentences infected with in each bottle like positive and negative thoughts. The result was devastating. The negative thoughts produced amorphous shape molecular, strange and sharp-pointed while the positive ones offered fairly good forms, rounded and very balanced.

It proved that our thought can alter the molecular form of the water. Coming to understand that our body is in great part water... Can we imagine how much of our state of mind has the influence in our health? We already knew that our thought creates part of our reality but now we know how it is done.

They say that we are what we eat and now more than ever we also are what we think.

PIZTIEN LAGUNA

March 12, 2010

Next Sunday, March 14, marks the 30th anniversary of the tragic plane crash in Shaktoolik, Alaska, on board, Felix Samuel Rodriguez de la Fuente, born precisely the 14th of March in Poza de la Sal, in the providence of Burgos and two of his colleagues, Theordore Roa and Alberto Marino. Isn’t strange how coincidence can occur sometimes in life. Many of the most cherished memories of my childhood are related in some way with music. Everything began on Friday night, after the mandatory news, suddenly you could fill the kitchen was over flooded with the first notes of the theme which was absolutely shocking; “El hombre y la Tierra “ (The man and the earth) was beginning. Rarely have I seen a melody so perfectly summarizes the essence of the serie to which it belongs. After the music of the maestro Antón García Abril images began appearing on screen and finally emerges the well known and admired voice of Dr. Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente. Very few know that “The friend of the animals” had a degree in medicine but instead he became a self taught naturalist and ethologist. A convinced falconer, Felix recovered the forgotten medieval art based on manuscripts and treaties of that period, which explains the basics in “capture the free with chained”. But what really launched him to fame was his television serie. Rodriguez de la Fuente, thanks to “El hombre y la Tierra “made us consent of something so forgotten by society back then, nature in our homes. Today, thanks to him, we all know what a dormouse is, the sound of the wolf’s howl or the meaning of the words “ecological pyramid” or “ecosystem”. Felix awoke in our society a new awareness that has been essential in protecting what we still have alive. When someone knows how to reach the public, manage, arrange and create something new and different, success is guaranteed, even above all criticism, that’s no miracle, it is just pure talent.
